Welcome to the Myrtle Beach Flying Club

The Myrtle Beach Flying Club was formed as a non-profit organization in 1993 after the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base was closed and the affiliated flying club was disbanded. Providing well-maintained, quality aircraft at moderate rates is the club's main objective. So far we have done just that, our club offers some of the lowest hourly rates in the country. We have approximately 70 members from all walks of life. Contrary to popular belief, flying airplanes is not restricted to wealthy doctors and lawyers. While we do have a few doctors and lawyers most of our club consists of small business owners, sales people, auto mechanics, school teachers and so on.

Graphic Engine Monitor

May 31, 2009
Folks, The CE-182 N6652M has a "GEM" Graphic Engine Monitor that allows us to lean more accurately and monitor Cyclinder Head Temperature on all 6 cyclinders at the same time. Monty has fixed the wiring problem at it works perfectly. To find out how to use properly, go to www.insight.com and look for GEM 602 model. The handbook is on the website. If you need additional instruction, you can set up a dual fight with me. -- Mike Marlowe
